What Does Elevated Bili Mean

LOSS TIPS FOR WRITERS

Each time a child opens a book. A viewer turns on the TV or sitting in the dark cinema. Each time one has to listen to others, is set in motion one of the most wonderful mechanisms that make us human: we tell stories to each other.

available in this act of the story from the other, they condense a lot of unwritten rules or such, but well known by both sides.
The reader / viewer calls, and has two inescapable rights: do not lie

not try to fool me.

I, as a writer, I am very aware of these rights to my readers, because after all am a reader first and foremost. And for all who have fallen into this business of writing, because once we did we let so dazzled by the stories they told us, we wanted to partake of this miracle.

The "once upon a time ..." implements the contract between the parties. He says that someone will take me to a story that could happen here or not. At this time or not. And with no end doubt "and lived happily ever after," which in modern times can be replaced by figures much less smiling.

So ... hear what you tell me, do not lie. Do not try to fool me. I do not care if the story is real or fictional. If it happens here or in another world. In the distant past or a future that never meet. To be part of the magic, I believe.

characters
If you give me, I would accompany them to the final. I know what happens to each of them, be happy or not. Let me know if Jo March was married and became a great writer. I want to know whether the Count of Monte Cristo took his revenge and was reunited with his childhood sweetheart. I know If Jane Eyre finally found some peace. If Harry Potter defeated the evil. Because once you start to accompany a character that I identify with him, I do most of my life, I can not let go until you know whether you can go on without me.

Of course, sometimes not very well tell me what happened to him or her, and I who must make the final point. "The Little Prince, dies or really back to that now call his alternate world? I like to think that back, because the universe of Prince anything was possible.

And that's the game, someone tell me how much and how and what is possible. I'll put the rest.

So, no doubt, Lost seems like a bad story.
I lied. And it made me feel a fool.

From day one, Lost was a kind of social Robinson. In times of reality TV, instead of throwing a man most of the desert, throw to a group and see what happens. I liked that "once upon a time ..." I lit. Wanted to know what followed.

soon began mysteries, enigmas and planted a huge amount of evidence. One sign is like a pebble on the road to the house of the witch. Then if not collected, Hansel and Gretel may not return. That
numbers that pregnant women could not give birth, which France lost that old ships that foreign initiatives, others and ourselves, past and present, that hieroglyphs that giant statues that monsters, cages, that and that and that.
Few television series played with so much fantasy at the same time. Lost gave us everything we must offer an epic, and so kept us in suspense for six years.

had to be very observant and write down each new mystery because it seemed that there was the beginning of the thread that would lead to the exit. For six years we have we entertain, but always bearing in mind that one day we would see the light, and would not be exactly the light of the island that turns on and off with a plug.

But no. A couple of writers began to play with the illusions of many and then can not know what to do with that. Les was great.

Now, however, there are legions of "readers" saying that Lost should not explain anything, it was all a metaphor of metaphors. An illusion that we reveal ourselves. And if Lost did not end, posed a dichotomy between those who expected answers, and readers are therefore flat, unintelligent, and those who accept that anything at all, and are deep and read between the lines.

The problem is that the story does not work. When one starts counting, do not interrupt, no say what you believe happened to the characters. We read or listen because we know that there is a story that anyone can twist. One structure a story for the other it apart. Then yes, of course. When the other stops counting or close the book, we are free to total freedom to imagine, intuit, change. To make our private reading. To believe what we believe.

A metaphor is something else.
When Cesar Vallejo says
"I will die in Paris with rain,
one day of which I have already remember"
we allow this impossible, because we know what the laws and accept poetry play that game.
not follow reading the poem to tell us why and how you know what day it will die. Nor does it demand that we explain how he remembers something that has not happened.
not do it because we do not expect explanations of poetry. Because we know that it is.
In contrast, Flashforward, another series soon to be lost (literally, since it was canceled), we do expect them to tell us why things happen the same things that happen in Vallejo's poem.

This, it is easy to see that Lost has never been raised as a great poem of six years, but as a tale of science fiction or fantasy. Lost was a story of the most classic, even if revolutionized the way people tell stories on TV.

other hand, now tell us that the island was so important, but people. And here they lie to us again, because from the first day the island was a character. Was alive. Beating. Moved. He had ideas. Required and requested. Cost lives. The island was a great character who manipulated the lives of others.

Oh! But we see it differently. View Lost in a long saga style "Gulliver." Gulliver travels from country to country and each one was different wonders. Talking horses, dwarves, giants. Gulliver was a spectator and actor at a time, but sometime chapter was finished and had to go to another world. The horses were not talking. The Dwarves have got into a pocket to reach the final chapter. From the first moment we heard that this was so and accept it.

Could be the same with Lost? No, because for every story that happens (the numbers, the initiative Dharla, pregnancy) should be started and completed in the long road leading to the survivors of Oceanic from one place to another.
And, Gulliver was never just a hobby. It was a satire on the society of 1700. Lost, however, proved not to be a satire of our time.

And now ...? Now at least I feel a great big idiot. They took hair. Because if you, as I did in school, goes to underline the main points of Lost, made known the end, he realizes that everything he was told no avail. Ideas were quite disposable. It had nothing to do with anything.
can get the numbers, the living who are dead, the dead speak, smoke black, polar bears, and the story remains the same. The end does not change.

If Lost turned out to be the story of a group of people lost themselves since the accident (and now not even one can be sure that the island was real) to their deaths, and the move to more there in the meeting again, because what each had to the other was the most important of their lives, is where does all that? Will the Dharma Initiative, electromagnetism, hieroglyphics, the others? Will delete and nothing else? What contributed beyond entertainment? What takes each character that way? .

enjoyed the trip with Lost. Not the end. Someone started telling a story, and at one point got tangled as he closed in any way. I lied and I underestimated. He broke the contract. A storyteller that I can not believe again.

But luckily, I took my immense desire for further reading and seeing stories. I want big, sure, I shall fall into the same trap again and again. At the pass Because that world stories: si're not lost again have no way encountered.
